September 30th was Jonathan’s birthday, and we had a great time! On Thursday night, Melissa, Betsy, Kat, and Ilissa came out to Jonathan’s favorite restaurant, Mi Ranchito, and we had great Mexican food and bought Jonathan a margarita pitcher!
On Friday, we left for a camping trip with some people from our bible study, and it was awesome! We went to Alley Springs, which is about a three hour drive from St. Louis. The weather was crisp and chilly – perfect for roasting marshmellows and standing by the campfire! We hiked, and saw an old mill. It’s hard to describe, but the scenery was beautiful. Lots of vibrant fall colors around streams and springs.
